Dog\u2019s Life is a programme of audio shorts in collaboration with Sightless Cinema Network, including:
\u2018Open Fire\u2019, a comedy set during a week-long electricity black-out after a storm, where Nora, the only one in the district with hot water, gets a string of unwelcome visitors, and one she might like to stay.<\/p>\n
The programme also includes \u2018A Dog\u2019s Life\u2019 which lets us hear the voices of a litter of guide dog pups in training, taking their final guide dog test course. Chewy slippers, BBQ smells, and a crazed cat threaten to tempt them off course – but who will pass and who will fail?<\/p>\n
\u2018The Devil\u2019s Sliotar\u2019 is a fun folk horror about a village desperate to lift the curse and win the county hurling final at last.<\/p>\n
The evening will also feature some live audio dramas performed on stage by members of the Sightless Cinema Network from three counties.<\/p>\n
