Fabricated from steel, the sculpture\u2019s surface will weather naturally over time, developing a warm, organic patina that reflects the parklands\u2019 own transformation from a post-industrial bog to a thriving biodiverse sanctuary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The form of <\/span><em><span><strong>Regeneration<\/strong><\/span><\/em><span> draws inspiration from the seed\u2014an elemental, universal emblem of growth and new beginnings. Through a repeated, abstracted seed motif, the sculpture references cycles of renewal found in ecosystems across the world, from wetlands and forests to coastlines and human communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span><strong>Light as a Feather<\/strong><\/span><\/em><span> is a striking minimalist sculpture by Irish artist Kevin O\u2019Dwyer, suspended with quiet elegance above the canal in Lough Boora Discovery Park.
