{"id":39050,"date":"2025-11-04T03:02:43","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T03:02:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/songbird-stories\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T03:02:43","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T03:02:43","slug":"songbird-stories","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/songbird-stories\/","title":{"rendered":"Songbird Stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Songbird Stories is an early year\u2019s music programme inspired by children\u2019s literature. &nbsp;Using rhymes, fingerplays, vocal exploration, creative movement, musical characterisations, echo and call, response songs, interactive storytelling and percussion instruments, children will be introduced to key musical concepts.&nbsp;The initiative is a collaboration with Music Generation Cavan Monaghan, Local Arts in Education Partnership and Monaghan County Childcare Committee.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Following a hugely successful pilot programme in the first quarter of 2024 and subsequent consultation with key stakeholders, Creative Monaghan has identified a need\/demand to offer the Songbird Stories programme in additional locations across Co.
