Each Tuesday morning residents of Trust Us Day Care Centre come together with artists and collaborators to create work that challenges perceptions of later life as quiet, grey, or invisible. Through shared making, conversation, and experimentation, those experiences are being transformed into bold expressions of colour, humour, and agency. Taking matters into their own hands, residents are also creating guerrilla-style art, postering bright, vibrant images of themselves throughout the community. The project brings residents into creative partnership with children from Blossoms, a local cr\u00e8che, and students from Kingswood Community College, showing how essential intergenerational connection is to a healthy community \u2013 reducing isolation, strengthening empathy, and celebrating creativity at every age. <\/p>\n
