Delivered by three of our members, this session breaks down how to appreciate and discuss visual art in plain language, removing the intimidation often felt in gallery settings. Participants will learn what to look for, key talking points, and gain confidence in engaging with artwork\u2014all explained directly by the artists themselves. The workshop takes place in a traditional gallery setting at the Portershed, where attendees can experience a genuine gallery atmosphere while viewing a curated sample of works from our collective creative platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Part Two is a practical workshop focused on launching an artisan craft business. Our members provide a step-by-step guide covering essential topics: registering as a sole trader, managing accounts and finances, leveraging marketing and social media, and designing attractive displays to captivate customers. Each attendee will be paired with a dedicated Umbrella Le Ch\u00e9ile mentor, who will guide them through the process and integrate them into our collective creative platform.
