{"id":42046,"date":"2026-07-09T03:02:37","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T02:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/weaving-connections\/"},"modified":"2026-07-09T03:02:37","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T02:02:37","slug":"weaving-connections","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/weaving-connections\/","title":{"rendered":"Weaving Connections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Weaving Connections is a free, family-friendly, artist led eco-arts event inviting the local community to come together in creativity and care for the environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Participants will co-create a large scale Willow Web, make natural ink drawings, and craft Message Sticks, each carrying a personal pledge to support biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>The main workshop takes place at Midleton Farmers Market, followed by a guided walk along the main street shopfront gallery, continuing to BabyWalk and the council grounds for storytelling and planting.<\/p>\n<p>Workshops are led by the BIRCH Collective, a team of artists and environmental<br \/>practitioners bringing together skills in eco-building, storytelling, horticulture, music,<br \/>and community arts.<\/p>\n<p>Guided by artists, people of all ages can drop in, contribute, and connect in a relaxed<br \/>outdoor setting.
