The project will run over 10 weeks and will be led by artist Philip Cullen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The sessions are designed to create a sense of mental and physical space, encouraging participants to connect with their personal experiences and the local landscape of West Waterford. Throughout the programme, Philip will guide participants through a creative process centred on hands-on experimentation, personal expression, and visual storytelling using photography alongside a range of mixed media techniques. Each session will encourage reflection, mindfulness, and collaboration, providing a supportive and safe environment in which participants can explore their creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The project is deeply rooted in place, drawing inspiration from the landscapes, culture, and communities surrounding the Blackwater River. By fostering connections with both the natural environment and one another, <\/span><em><span>Beyond the Blackwater<\/span><\/em><span> aims to promote wellbeing, resilience, and social connection while building participants&#8217; confidence and creative skills.
