{"id":42271,"date":"2026-07-21T03:02:17","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T02:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/event\/creatively-connected-tuam\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T03:02:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T02:02:17","slug":"creatively-connected-tuam","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/creatively-connected-tuam\/","title":{"rendered":"Creatively Connected Tuam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Local Artist Jennifer Cunningham will work with Tuam Tidy Towns and members of the community on a creative project to highlight biodiversity and to consider how can drawing and printmaking connect us to the land, the elements and the more than human world.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will explore new media including intaglio printmaking workshops, collagraphs, monoprints and mono types, expanded drawing using &nbsp;sustainable natural materials, homemade drawing tools, charcoal, inks and twigs. Through innovative drawing exercises we will explore various ways of producing marks, forms and symbols.<\/p>\n<p>They will then explore various book formats including explosion books, accordion books and \ufb02ag books.
