Through a year-round programme of workshops, lessons and performance opportunities, the initiative aims to make music part of everyday life in neighbourhoods across Cork.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes toddler music sessions, children&#8217;s instrumental tuition, traditional music workshops, adult music classes, and regular community trad sessions, offering pathways for participation from early childhood through to later life. Delivered by local musicians, music educators and creative practitioners, activities will support learning, confidence-building, self-expression and social connection in welcoming and inclusive settings.<\/p>\n<p>By embedding creative activity within the library network, <strong>City of Sound<\/strong> broadens access to culture and creativity while strengthening community wellbeing and social cohesion.
