We provide support to our clients to seek and secure stable long term accommodation.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span>The project will engage homeless women accessing the services of Tintean in collaborating to create a Christmas exhibition that is themed on the essence of empowered femininity. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span>The project will provide the service users with a creative outlet in which they can express their creativity and learn new artistic skills, which will <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span>then be on display to the public. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span>The project will also allow service users to engage mindfully in various arts and crafts projects, thus contributing to an improved mental wellbeing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span>The funding applied for will include the cost of a tutor to run two skills workshops, teaching the service users some new techniques in crafting the project and an art tutor to run the classes. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span>The funding will also cover the materials needed to make this project a reality, including the cost of transporting the piece from our quarters to where the exhibit will be displayed. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-IE\" xml:lang=\"EN-IE\"><span><span>The project will be delivered over 12 sessions, each two hours long, and will engage 10 homeless women.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-7775","event","type-event","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Christmas Craft - Empowered Women - Creative Ireland Programme<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Tintean Housing Association is a Waterford charity offering accommodation with supports to homeless women and families.\" \/>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.creativeireland.gov.ie\/en\/event\/christmas-craft-empowered-women\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Christmas Craft - Empowered Women - Creative Ireland Programme\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Tintean Housing Association is a Waterford charity offering accommodation with supports to homeless women and families.
