Two young creatives, Hannah Carleton and Mary Smyth, did workshops in primary schools as follows: Ardagh, Kenagh,\u00a0Granard, Glen, Edgeworthstown and Killasonna. The project was done in two parts, with the first three participating in the spring and the remaining three in the autumn. They got the older pupils to imagine the future of the earth. The outputs are a collaborative graphic novel and a short animated film. The work from the first three were exhibited at an evening for teachers in Backstage Theatre on 12 June, and were exhibited in the theatre for the remainder of that week.. At the conclusion of the project, the novel will be published and all schools will get copies.
