International Contemporary Tapestry Festival showcasing woven tapestries from Scotland and Ireland.<\/p>\n

Frances Crowe is\u00a0a fibre artist based in Roscommon whose inspiration comes from the landscapes and surroundings of her\u00a0country studio.<\/p>\n

Frances works\u00a0in a variety of materials, paint, collage, mixed media – but her\u00a0primary thought process is in fibres. She\u00a0collects materials such as wool, rope, cotton, and twists and weaves them together to form individual, original works of art.<\/p>\n

Her work “Interconnections”\u00a0will be exhibited in Roscommon and as part of Galway 2020 and in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office.<\/p>\n
