Wicklow County Council will partner with Music Network, supported by Mermaid Arts Centre to deliver music tuition and a musical instrument on loan to older persons aged 55+ in County Wicklow. 

The Scheme is designed to attract older persons who may have once played an instrument and have some proficiency at music playing. The aim of the programme is to reach out to people who may wish to take up something creative returning to what they once enjoyed supported by prestigious County Wicklow based musicians. The tuition will be weekly and will be delivered on a one to one basis on Zoom and in person when Covid-19 allows. The instrument will be provided on long term loan to participants and classical, pop and traditional music genres will be catered for.
