Kilkenny Steiner School would like to form a Community Choir, welcoming family, friends and neighbours of the Steiner School plus residents of the local community encompassing all ages.

The school will extend a welcome to all past students using this new initiative as a way of reconnecting with them and collaborating with them. The school will then record 2 albums of the Kilkenny Steiner School seasonal songs & festive songs which will be sung by the Community Choir alongside the school community. This will be titled ‘Songs for all Seasons’

To share this music, in particular, with the elderly community we intend to hold a localised performance in a nursing home and / or through the medium of a cd and letter sent to members of the elderly community by our children.

The Steiner School will contact potential participants by invitations via survey monkey, WhatsApp and community word of mouth as well as social media and more information will be available on the Kilkenny Steiner School website in due course.
