One of the priorities of Roscommon County Council Arts Office is to offer high quality arts experiences to people, regardless of geographical location. 

Funding will be provided to the Creative Places Ballaghaderreen Programme budget to support an Artist Commission.

 

Through engagement with the new local Artist network, there is huge interest for more opportunities to collaborate. 3-of-Arts is a collaborative artist commission led by artist researcher Julie Sharkey. Teams involving a Visual Artist, a Writer, and a Musician are responding to the prompt: 
--- This Must Be The Place ---. 

Visual artists create a response first, and writers and musicians then create a response from the artwork. All works will be showcased on Culture Night.
