Neuro-Stage Summer Camp

Neuro-Stage Summer Camp: Creative Storytelling for Autistic Children

Join us this August in Killaloe for a unique summer camp designed especially for autistic children aged 8–14. Hosted at The Hub in the Killaloe Family Resource Centre, this 4-day camp (August 11–14) offers 1.5-hour sessions filled with creativity, imagination, and connection.

Led by experienced visual artists Lynn Kenny and Hazel Griffin, children will explore storytelling through art and theatre by creating a magical “cranky box” theatre piece. Activities include drawing, painting, prop-making, and more—tailored to each child’s interests and strengths.

This camp fosters:

  • 🎨 Creative expression and exploration
  • 🤝 Social connection and collaboration
  • 💬 Validation of special interests
  • 🧘‍♂️ A calm, sensory-friendly environment
Parents are welcome to stay and connect in a dedicated space, building a supportive community while offering children a safe and structured setting to thrive.

Spaces are limited to 8–10 participants to ensure a nurturing experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate neurodiversity through art!
