In partnership with Creative Kilkenny, Ossory Youth and Artists, Cuan Cusack, Rhys Wallace, Natasha Everitt, Hog and Dice, and Roib I O Rua will collaborate for a series of 10 vibrant workshops where young people will create stunning costumes inspired by Irish folk tales. Participants will design drag-inspired characters such as the Man-Wolves of Ossory, Oilliphéist, Merrow, the Fairy Queen, and the Aos Sí. These costumes will be crafted using a mix of natural and recycled materials, focusing on bold silhouettes and vibrant colours—a modern twist on traditional Irish costume design.

The culmination of the project will end with young people participating in the 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Interested young people from Ossory Youth’s LGBTQIA+ members and the wider community will be invited to participate.
