In an age of division and digital isolation, our project unites people through music, dance, and visual arts, transforming individual creativity into a collective celebration for the Galway Community Pride Parade.

Workshops & Facilitators

🎶 Drum-Making & Samba Rhythms

• Yvette Picque (Teach Solais) – Leads workshops crafting percussion instruments from recycled materials.
• Gustavo (SambaWave) – Teaches Afro-Brazilian samba drumming, highlighting its roots in resistance and unity.

💃 Movement & Dance

• Lapree Lala (Afro Dance) – Guides Afro and improvisational dance, encouraging joyful self-expression and confidence.
• Bernadette Divilly (Contemplative Dance) – Introduces slow-motion choreography, blending stillness, bilingual storytelling, and emotional depth.

📢 Expression & Language
Workshops integrate rhythm, movement, and rally cries in Gaeilge, English, and other community languages, fostering empowerment and visibility.
