Join Martha and Aidan, founding members of the Maharees Conservation Association, which was formed in 2016 to address the adverse impacts of coastal erosion in their locality, for this skill sharing event.
You will be guided through a marram grass planting demonstration in the dunes, followed by a presentation about their work and experiences over the past 10 years in establishing and developing a community-led nature conservation group. The aim of this event is to build conversations between coastal communities and climate action initiatives across the county, while providing us with an opportunity to ask questions and get advice about next steps for our own work here at Rossbeigh.
