Free Creative Workshops for Young People in Johnstown & Urlingford! 

This autumn, two exciting new youth programmes are launching in Johnstown and Urlingford — and they’re completely FREE!

In partnership with Music Generation Kilkenny, KCETB Youth Office, Creative Ireland Kilkenny, Ossory Youth, Foróige Kilkenny, and the local community, these workshops offer young people the chance to explore their creativity through visual arts.

 Youth Art Programme (Ages 10+)
Explore drawing, painting, design, and mixed media in a vibrant, youth-led art space. Guided by professional artists, participants will build confidence, experiment with materials, and showcase their work in a final community exhibition.

These programmes promote creativity, well-being, and community connection — and are part of a wider effort to make high-quality arts experiences accessible to all young people in Kilkenny.
