Music Generation are delivering this autumn a Music Production workshop series for 12 weeks from September - December 2025. These workshops are for Young People living in 2 International Protection Family Accommodation centers in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

The workshops will provide a unique opportunity to young people aged 12 - 17 to sample and produce music of their choice, facilitated by Music Generation Music Educators on site with all instruments and equipment provided by Music Generation. These workshops build on facilitated Music Generation sessions organised earlier in the year, where young people performed as part of Cruinniú na nÓg in June 2025. Due to ongoing interest in the initiative from the young people, 6 places will be provided in each accommodation centre and further workshops and opportunities to create and perform with local young people in dlr will be delivered into 2026. 

This programme is supported by Music Generation; Creative Ireland, Creative Communities; dlr Local Authority Integration Team and Crosscare New Communities Integration Team.
