Louth Science Festival

The central Science Week theme of ”Then.Today.Tomorrow” will be the foundation for Louth Science Festival 2025.  We will look to the past to discover what we can learn to embrace today to ensure sustainable and healthy communities for the future.

This year’s Louth Science Festival programme will include two large family friendly fairs, the first in Clogherhead on November 9th featuring author of “The Sweathouse” Rosanna Cooney and wildlife documentary presenter Eoin Warner.

The second family fair will take place on November  16th in Dundalk Library, featuring workshops and events for children and adults.

Drogheda will also celebrate science week with talks and events for adults and children alike in the Council offices, Fair Street. We will be hosting talks with Laura Dowling “The Fabulous Pharmacist”, Dr. Harry Barry, Comedian PJ Gallagher and two rugby legends Alan Quinlan and Bernard Jackman.  There will be further workshops and events throughout the county in Dunleer, Carlingford and Ardee Libraries.

All events are FREE but some will require booking. For more details on events please contact your local library or check out the Louth Libraries Facebook and Instagram pages.

Please note that the details of events listed above are provided by the relevant Local Authorities.
