The audio-enhanced version brings to life over 5,000 years of Roscommon’s heritage – from ancient tombs and royal sites to medieval castles, monastic ruins, and Big House estates. The audio edition invites listeners to journey through time, discovering the stories of Queen Medb, the O’Conor kings, famine survivors, miners, monks and more.
Designed to support literacy, accessibility and creative engagement, this audio adaptation ensures that Roscommon’s heritage can be enjoyed by diverse audiences, including those with visual impairments, learning differences, or a preference for auditory storytelling.
