Their aim is to share, conserve and promote their African heritage, folklore and traditions with the Carlow community and in so doing, to broaden the understanding of diverse African cultures by delivering storytelling  creative story writing, poetry, singing, dancing, acting, and drumming events. During 2025, the AHA Storytellers will engage with a range of community groups and organisations, sharing their culture through, song, story telling and more in a fun and interactive way, showcasing traditional African costumes, instruments and art work. As well as engaging with the community, the AHA storytellers will also engage with specialist African costume designers and will hold workshops to design and create costumes that will bring their events to life!
