Song Seeking is a transformative singing project that brings together migrant and local communities in Kildare. Sing Ireland, the national organisation that supports all forms of group singing in Ireland, originally piloted Song Seeking in 2018 with support from Creative Ireland and the Irish Refugee Council. 

At Sing Ireland, every voice counts. This project fosters wellbeing, cultural exchange, and social inclusion, particularly for individuals living in Direct Provision and temporary accommodation settings.
Song Seeking - Kildare has already engaged with around 20 participants from 14 nationalities and diverse backgrounds. With continued support from Kildare County Council, the next phase of Song Seeking - Kildare will take place from [Month 2025 - Month 202X] in [Location]. Weekly sessions will engage participants in creative and collaborative music-making, exploring songs from their homelands while building confidence, connection, and community.
More than singing, Song Seeking enhances lives through singing and is a catalyst for cultural expression, personal growth, and integration, how music can unite communities, celebrate diversity and empower people of all backgrounds.
