The Young Editors & Publishers Programme is a progression-focused creative writing and publishing project for young people in Kerry, delivered by Kerry Writers’ Museum in conjunction with Fighting Words Kerry & Kerry ETB. 

Building on Fighting Words established model of high-quality, youth-led creative writing, this project will support participants to move beyond writing into the professional practices of editing, selection, design and publication.

Working collaboratively with experienced Kerry-based writers, editors and designers, participants will curate, edit and publish their own professionally designed book or journal. 

The programme will culminate in a free public launch at Kerry Writers’ Museum, celebrating the young people’s creative voices and giving them tangible experience of the creative industries.
