This project aims provide opportunities for people in Waterford to find ways to creatively upcycle or repurpose textiles by engaging facilitators to deliver workshops in Tramore library, building community expertise and capacity in different methods of repairing and repurposing textiles. This will culminate in an exhibition and celebration of work in September 2026 as part of SDG Week. It will foster a community of menders and creators of textiles in Tramore. 

Workshops will include tote bag making, mending techniques, making a book using scrap fabric, cyanotype printing, and more!
