Claregalway Active Retired will hire a bodhran tutor who will provide 8 lessons. 

Learning this skill will help our members be more socially active and it will help a part of our heritage that is becoming extinct. The group had the following to say,

We want to avail of Bodhran lessons ,we all love Irish music and this is part of our culture and heritage which we want to keep alive..Their are many advantages to having this skill,

It encourages creativity and helps the individual think more flexibly and express themselves artistically

2. It enhances emotional expression.
3. It improves mental health as it is calming and therapeutic.

5. Learning a musical instrument benefits the mind, emotions, and social skills thus making it a valuable life long skill.
