You are cordially invited to the launch of The Goddess of the River Shannon – Sionnan project.

This wonderful project captured the imagination of children from West Cavan — Dowra and Glangevlin — who explored the story of Sionnan through storytelling, art, and music. Their creativity helped bring Sionnan to life, culminating in the creation of a beautiful dress designed by Couture Dress Designer Margaret Coyne.

The launch event will include:

• Unveiling of the Sionnan Dress
• Recitation of the Sionnan Poem, composed by local children
• Art Exhibition featuring the children’s creative work
• Musical Performance, including an original composition inspired by Sionnan by local singer-songwriter Andrew Lynch
• Creative Station where children can express their own interpretation of Sionnan
• Screening of two short films showcasing Ireland’s Aileen Mac Keogh 20th FÍS Film of the Year Award winners from St. Hugh’s N.S.
