Join a series of relaxed, hands-on workshops exploring textile and mixed-media art inspired by Cavan’s forests, lakes, and landscapes.

These sessions are open to adults of all experience levels - no prior skills needed. Participants will experiment with wool, embroidery, stitching, and layering techniques, working with fabric including sustainable materials such as Irish tweed offcuts and reclaimed textiles.

The workshops offer a welcoming space to slow down, be creative, and connect with others while exploring personal responses to landscape through making.

All materials are provided and workshops are facilated by local creative Orla Galligan and funded through Creative Cavan Open Call Grants 2025.2026.
