"The Bog of Small Things" is a multidisciplinary arts project by composer Ian Wilson and nature photographer Tina Claffey exploring the hidden life of boglands in County Cavan. During 2026 and 2027 Tina will photograph the tiny plants and creatures that live in these fragile landscapes through the seasons. Ian will respond by creating new, intimate music inspired by the details of the images, and performed by the crOw duo. Alongside the creative work, the project will include public workshops, talks, and soundwalks, inviting people to look, listen, and engage creatively with their local boglands. The project will culminate in a joint public exhibition and live performance celebrating the beauty, complexity, and vulnerability of these unique environments.
