Colourful Connections: Pottery Painting for Wellbeing and Skills Building
Mo Chairde’s Pottery Painting Programme is a seven‑week creative project delivered at the Active Age Day Centre in County Roscommon, engaging older and vulnerable adults in supported artistic expression and social connection. Building on the success of a previous programme, participants will decorate pottery pieces such as tableware and decorative items, developing new skills while expressing creativity and personal style. Led by local artists in a welcoming environment, the project supports wellbeing, reduces isolation, and fosters a strong sense of community, belonging, and shared enjoyment through accessible, high‑quality creative practice.
