Heartlands Pride Athlone will collaborate with Creatives Roscommon to celebrate the arts especially in the LGBTQIA+ Community. Creatives Roscommon usually holds a creative mic night in Roscommon Town each month, bringing artists together from Roscommon to sing, recite poetry and spoken word. They will work together to bring this to the Monksland Area. 
The idea is to have regular open mic nights which touch on LGBT+ themes Heartlands Pride will also work with poets and creatives to put on workshops e.g., Singing workshops with Roscommon/Athlone artist Ciara Lawless and Poetry workshops with Roscommon/Athlone Poet, Amy Abdullah Barry.
