ln Other Words is a creative wellbeing programme led by Waterford artist Luke Corcoran in collaboration with the Aiséiri Progression Programme. Through a series of engaging workshops, participants explore creativity, presence, and authentic connection using adapted acting and creative exercises. 

The project creates a supportive space where participants can build confidence, develop their voice, and experience the power of collaborative creativity. Workshops focus on listening, responding in the moment and working together through simple but dynamic creative practices inspired by contemporary acting methods. 

Across the programme, participants collaborate to create a series of short films, gaining hands-on experience of the creative process from workshop exploration through to filming and final presentation. The films offer a meaningful sense of achievement and celebrate the creativity and commitment everyone involved. 

The project takes place across cultural venues in Waterford City, including the Aiséiri Centre and Waterford Film centre (Screen Waterford). The completed films will be presented at a special screening at Waterford Gallery of Art celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the vibrant cultural life of Waterford.
