Community Songwriting Workshops with Luan Parle

Join award-winning singer-songwriter Luan Parle for a series of three free standalone collaborative songwriting workshops at Carlow County Library. Presented in partnership with Carlow County Library and funded through the Creative Ireland Programme, supported by Carlow Arts Office, these workshops are open to adults (18+) of all ages and abilities.

Each workshop is a complete, standalone experience. You are welcome to attend one, two or all three workshops—there is no requirement to attend every session.

No previous musical or songwriting experience is required. Whether you’re writing your first song or you’re an experienced songwriter or musician, these workshops offer a welcoming, relaxed and creative environment for everyone. Participants will explore lyric writing, melody, song structure and creative collaboration while working together to create an original song. Participants who play an instrument are encouraged to bring it along, although this is entirely optional.

The workshops are free to attend, but places are limited and advance registration is essential.
