Creative Gathering with Art, Music & Creativity in Graiguenamanagh

Join us for a weekend celebrating art, creativity and place. The programme begins on Thursday (5pm-7.30pm) with the launch of an exhibition at Cushendale Woollen Mills, showcasing talented local emerging artists

On Friday (10am-4pm), Butler Gallery hosts a free Plein Air Painting Demonstration featuring seven of Ireland's leading plein air artists painting live. Visitors are welcome to watch, sketch or paint, with materials provided. An outdoor exhibition of recent works will also be on display.

Saturday features two inclusive, family-friendly workshops with live music sitters and a vintage tractor for artistic inspiration. Refreshments will be provided for registered artists.

The weekend culminates on Sunday with The Gathering En Plein Air Graiguenamanagh. Artists will paint the town's heritage sites, streets and scenic River Barrow. The event concludes with a public exhibition, judging and prize-giving from 5pm. While artist registration is fully booked for the Plein Air, everyone is welcome to attend, sketch and enjoy this celebration of creativity.
