Taking place on Culture Night 2026, Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park will host the next phase of Our Wall, Our Story, a Creative Ireland mosaic project led by local artist Patsy Preston. 

Building on the success of the children's workshops during Cruinniú na nÓg 2026, this free event invites adults to take part in creating a permanent public artwork inspired by the natural heritage, biodiversity and landscapes of Dún na Sí. Participants will work with hand-cut mosaic pieces to create floral and nature-inspired designs, celebrating local creativity, shared heritage and community participation.

Artist Patsy Preston will lead an open, adults-only mosaic workshop as the second phase of the larger project Our Wall, Our Story. Participants are invited to explore mosaic techniques, experiment with colour, texture, shapes, and materials, and discover their own creative expression in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The workshop offers adults an opportunity to connect, create, and contribute to a shared artistic experience inspired by local stories, identity, and community.
