Ag Iniúchadh na Gaeilge trí logainmneacha.

The aim of this project is to promote the Irish language among non-speakers by exploring the rich heritage and history woven into Ireland's place names. By drawing attention to the stories, meanings, and cultural significance behind these names, we can foster a better understanding of the language and its connection to Irish identity.

Objectives. Raise Awareness: Educate non-speakers about the Irish language and its importance in Irish culture.

2. Participation: Encourage participation through interactive activities related to place names.

3. Preservation: Promote the preservation of the Irish language by connecting it to everyday life through place names.

We expect that the project will have an impact on increasing awareness that the Irish language is a central part of our heritage and identity. To highlight this, we intend to run the project during Heritage Week in August.

The interest shown in our online information and in our printed materials will be a key measure of the project's success.
