Brosna River Festival

The Brosna River Festival will be hosted by Ferbane Tidy Towns on Saturday the 23rd of August, as part of Heritage Week. The festival forms part of the Brosna Relay – Connecting Communities Initiative, which has seen the festival hosted upstream by both Clara and Ballycumber.

The festival is ideally located in the picturesque setting of An Síolán Community Garden (Formally St. Joseph’s of Cluny Convent), on the banks of the river Brosna. Entertainment will be provided by local musicians, historians and poets. River inspired crafts and activities including Fuinseog Woodland Crafts will also feature for kids of all ages. Tea, coffee and light refreshments provided. Please consider bringing a reusable cup to help us cut down on waste.

All welcome to this free event, kindly sponsored by Creative Ireland and Offaly County Council.
