Roscommon County Council, in partnership with Hanlon Art Works and Creative Ireland, have invited primary schools to participate in a festive creative initiative as part of the Roscommon Christmas Festival 2025.

Project Overview:

• Artists Involved: Stephanie and Kev from Hanlon Art Works
• Activity: In-school workshops guiding students in creating small lantern-style sculptures
• Target Group: 4th to 6th class students (20–30 students per school)
• Number of Schools: Up to five schools will be selected
• Materials: All tools and materials provided
• Final Showcase: Lanterns will be featured in The Enchanted Christmas Trail at Loughnaneane Park, Roscommon Town
