Introducing children aged 8-14 to the world of creative technology using a variety of formats in a workshop at their local library.

Children build 4-5 robots with Lego, connect them to the computer via Bluetooth and code them to carry out various tasks using lights, sounds, sensors, and motors. 

Children will design their own video game and create their own 2D character and world using pixel art.

They learn the basics of block coding by using blocks to move a character around the maze to collect coins and earn a score each time. 

Workshops held in libraries in Scariff, Ennis, Shannon, Kilkee and Ennistymon in May and June.
