A creative adventure in plant identification designed to celebrate and creatively explore Kerry’s trees and their place within the wider ecosystem with students of Tralee Educate Together National School led by artist Felix Power. Over two workshops per class, each child will choose a tree species to reimagine as a person. They’ll build a profile of their chosen tree through metaphor creation, observation and creative writing. This will result in a fun-sized mini diorama created by each young eco-artist that shows familiar native trees in a new light, highlighting their importance and letting their beautiful personalities shine through.
