This project will introduce senior Droichead Youth Theatre members to the core principles of drama facilitation and youth theatre leadership, in partnership with facilitator Dave Kelly, and supported by DYT Artistic Director Christina Matthews.

Participants will be able to:

•  Develop skills as a creative practitioner and explore what being a drama facilitator is.
• Gain an understanding of how youth theatre can support the artistic, social & personal development of young people.
• identify creative approaches when working with young people.
• Unlock creative potential, enhance communication skills, and foster teamwork
• explore a range of games and activities to connect to youth theatre aims: team-building, trust, self-confidence performance skills etc.
