Creative Brainwaves Spring 2025 - Talks & Discussions on the Creative Arts and Technology Improving Brain Health
dlr Libraries, the Global Brain Health Institute and Creative Ireland Creative Health & Wellbeing programme are delivering another session of talks and discussion around brain health.
Curated by Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health, Karen Meenan and Mike Hanrahan, this day-long event focuses on dementia care, featuring medical professionals, advocates, writers and musicians, as well as voices from caregivers and people living with dementia.
The morning programme looks at Developments in Creative Arts in Dementia and Wellbeing Worldwide, with a focus on the use of Virtual Reality (VR), and the afternoon session will introduce a number of Creative Projects and will reflect on What is Happening in the Community and why are these Initiatives Important?
Tea & coffee will be provided 30 mins prior to each session
This event is part of the ‘Let’s Get Social dlr Programme 2024-25’. Funded by the Creative Ireland Programme under the Health & Wellbeing in the Community Scheme.
