dlr Let's Get Social - Creative Brainwaves autumn series
This November, dlr LexIcon will host Creative Brainwaves: Global Voices, Creative Solutions, Healthier Minds.
Hosted and curated by Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health, Karen Meenan and Mike Hanrahan with support from Creative Ireland dlr, dlr Libraries, dlr's Age Friendly Programme and the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI). These sessions will showcase global and local initiatives in creative arts, dementia, brain health, Parkinson’s, and extended reality (XR). It includes talks, workshops, and performances aimed at promoting wellbeing through creativity and innovation. dlr's Creative Brainwaves series focus on the benefits of creativity for brain health, and are open and accessible to all.
The day is split into two sessions, with booking required for each session. The first half of the day will consist of talks and presentations, while the second half of the day will consist of workshops.
Attendees are welcome to stay for the entire day, but must book for both the morning and the afternoon.
