Building on last year's inaugural event, this year Eastside Arts Festival will take community arts out into the communities of Eastside, with a celebration on the green in Doughiska.

Through a grassroots partnership of organisations and stakeholders working in Eastside, the Festival is supporting local artists and creatives to share and showcase their talents, as well as providing opportunities for inspiring performances, talks, workshops and screenings to spark new ideas and sensations in the heart of the neighbourhoods of Eastside Galway City.

Eastside Arts Festival is the result of a collaborative effort between several key stakeholders, including: Galway City Council, Galway Public Library Service, Galway City Partnership, ARD Family Resource Centre, Brothers of Charity (West Region), SCCUL Enterprise Centre Ballybane, Ballybane Community Resource Centre, and Amicitia.
