This Creative Communities project invites young people aged 14–18 to take part in a bold, hands-on street art initiative in the heart of Ennistymon.

Over three workshop sessions this autumn, participants will collaborate with professional street artists Marcus O’Connor and Derek Ross to design and paint a large-scale public mural. Exploring themes of identity, place, and belonging, the group will reflect on what Ennistymon means to them—and turn those ideas into a vibrant, permanent artwork in the town.

Together, they’ll learn:

• Street art techniques, scaling, and mural design
• How to express ideas visually through bold lettering and imagery
• The power of shared creativity in transforming public space

No prior experience is needed—just commitment, curiosity, and a desire to make something meaningful, together.

Location: The Courthouse Gallery & Studios, Ennistymon. Open to young people aged 14–18 living in or near Ennistymon
