Féile Brian Ború is an annual five-day festival which takes place in the twin-towns of Killaloe & Ballina. The main aim of the festival is to commemorate Ireland’s Greatest High King in his native place. The festival highlights our history, heritage, traditional crafts and skills, our landscape and our waterway. 

We organise a wide and varied programme of events each year with something to suit all tastes and ages, including a Viking Village and boat trips on a replica Viking boat; historical walks, talks and workshops; sporting and water sporting event; arts and crafts for both children, teenagers and adults; nature and biodiversity; live music and street entertainment and the Féile Fireworks display over the River Shannon. 

Our programme includes a range of interactive events as audience participation is hugely encouraged.
