Ballycumber Tidy Towns are hosting a heritage event focusing on bats on Sunday the 24th of August from 2pm to 5pm at the bridge in Ballycumber.  The community group are very interested in bats and have been completing bat surveys for a few years, and the planned event will celebrate and further educate the local community on our love for bats.

In the lead up to the event mosaic artist, Tara Mulvihill will facilitate two mosaic workshops with two local schools  to design and make individual mosaic tiles which will be unveiled in a new bat garden on the day of the event.
