St. Peter’s GFC Drumconrath is set to celebrate its proud history with a brand-new publication telling the story of the club from its earliest days to the present. 

This special project will bring together years of research and treasured memories, capturing the spirit of Drumconrath GFC for generations to come.

The book will feature a chronological history of the club, newspaper articles covering matches and milestones, and extracts from committee minutes and AGM reports. Readers will also find stories from past chairmen and secretaries, heartfelt memories from players and supporters, and a detailed account of how the club’s grounds developed into today’s home at Birdhill.

Packed with photographs from across the decades—complete with names where possible—the publication will also include personal recollections from loyal patrons, as well as a map showing the club’s locations and places of interest over the years.

The launch will take place at the Drumconrath GFC clubhouse in Birdhill, where a copy will be kept permanently for future generations. Copies will also be shared with supporters near and far, ensuring that the story of St. Peter’s GFC continues to inspire the local community and those with ties to Drumconrath across the world.
